Data
- From this page you can access to the monitoring database since 01/01/1988
until 31/12/2005. To access data you need the username and the
apssword you can get for free if you use data just for research
purposes. To get it you have to provide your name and the
motivation of your request. Please, write the motivation as
detailed as possible. You will get the password 72 hours after
your submission and it will work for 48 hours since the acceptance
email you will receive.
You
can access to 3 types of data:
- .smf: acquisition output, not validated data, daily files
for each sensor
- .dat: partially validated data, syncronus and formatted
data, matrix format for all kind of elaboration, files with
acquisitions since 1/1/1988 up today for each sensor
and each station
- DB: Database, you can select the period, the station and
the sensor you need and you can save the result in a txt file
- real time data from the weather station of Dept. of
electronic and information enginering University of Perugia
From
March 2009 the data avaibility increased, we added 1 new meteo
station on Trasimeno Lake (Tresa), the DIEI meteo station
(University of Perugia) and 5 new rain gauges sensors (Capezzine,
Bettolle, Cortona, Castiglion Fiorentino e Monte San Savino)
kindly provided from Centro
Funzionale della Regione Toscana,
those data are not validated and it is possible to use them just
citating the Centro Funzionale and sending to the Centro Funzionale
one copy of the job.
We
provide even the Matlab programs to analyse data:
-
formatta_stazione.m ... it opens all the smf files of the
same station (they have to be in the same folder), it syncronizes
the sensors and formats them in a matrix where the first 5 columns
are year, month, day, hour, minute and finally it saves the matrix
in dat file.
- minime.m ... using all parameters before the sunset, it
forcasts the minimum temperatures of the day (to know the error of
the forcating, please read the arcticles you can find in "publications"
page)
- massime.m ... using all parameters before the sunrise, it
forcasts the maximum temperatures of the day (to know the error of
the forcating, please read the arcticles you can find in "publications"
page)
- gelate.m ... using all parameters before the sunset, it
forcasts if during the night it will be frozen (to know the error of
the forcating, please read the arcticles you can find in "publications"
page)
If
you already got the codes to access data, chose the data you need,
otherwise register yourrself.
